Philip Anthony (Phil) Esposito is a canadian professional hockey player who became a true legend, one of the most prominent participants in the historical series of hockey matches of 1972 between USSR and Canada. The events of the documentary film " Phil Esposito friendship tour of Russia " cover the period from 2012 to the present, and illuminate the most meaningful visits of Phil Esposito in Russia. Phil talks about how did those trips change his attitude to Russia – from very negative, which persisted for forty years after the 1972 summit Series, to respectful and friendly.
